Setting up a classification AI model

Imagine you're a business owner managing a bustling e-commerce warehouse, with hundreds of different products arriving and needing categorization. The Classification Block is like your most efficient warehouse manager, expertly sorting your products (or data) into designated shelves (or categories) based on their content. This Block is a smart, AI-driven tool designed to handle complex data sorting tasks, giving you more time to focus on the core aspects of your business.

Setting Up the Classification Block

Setting up your Classification Block is as straightforward as organizing your digital workspace. Let's dive in:

  1. Access AI Blocks: After logging into your Levity account, navigate to the sidebar and click on 'AI Blocks'. On this screen you'll see a blue button labeled 'New AI Block'. Go ahead and click it.
  1. Select Classification: From the block types that appear - Extract, Classify, Generate, and Summarize - choose ‘Classify’. It's your first step towards smart data management.
  1. Personalize Your Block: Give it a name and select an emoji that best represent your goals. Don’t worry too much about finding the perfect icon though, you can always change this later. When ready, click the ‘Create AI Block’ button.
  1. Configure Your Block: The configuration page allows you to personalize your AI Block, much like setting the guidelines for a new employee. You can make test predictions on this page to ensure it works how you need, before you go live.
    1. 🔹 Main text box: This is where you enter the text to be classified during testing. If you want to classify your emails, for example, you’d put the body content of an email in here (your product).

      🔹 Categories: This is what you want the system to select between (your shelves). Not sure? Leave it blank and see what the AI suggests.

      🔹 Single Categories: This switch allows you to toggle ON the restriction of the AI to a single category. With this enabled, it will only choose one category that best matches the prediction. With it disabled, the AI will choose as many categories as are appropriate.

  1. Test Your Block: Make sure your settings are how you need them - click the Classify button under the main text box, and watch the result appear on the right. It’s as easy as that! Not sure about the result? Simply adjust the parameters, and try again! Test predictions do not count towards your Actions usage, so you can test with confidence to get the output you need.

And that's it! Your Classification Block is all set and ready to streamline your data organization process.

Leveraging the Classification Block for Your Business

The Classification Block is a versatile assistant that can enhance the efficiency of various business operations. Here's how it can benefit you:

  • Email Management: Use it to sort incoming emails into categories like 'Inquiries', 'Orders', 'Feedback', etc. to streamline your communications.
  • Customer Feedback Analysis: Classify customer feedback into specific categories such as 'Product Quality', 'Delivery Service', 'Customer Support', etc. to pinpoint areas that require attention.
  • Social Media Monitoring: It can classify your social media mentions into 'Praise', 'Complaint', or 'Suggestion', helping you gauge your online reputation.
  • Support Ticket Triaging: Use labels such as ‘Urgent’, ‘Angry’, ‘Patient’, ‘Relaxed’, and ‘Happy’ to sort your tickets into priority levels.

The Classification Block gives you the power to customize the categories to best serve your business's unique needs.
